Displaying a wonderfully textured grain pattern with intergrown knots, Red Alder readily conveys the warm comfortable feeling of a true heritage floor. Every piece of the Antique Alder Solid Collection flooring is put through our unique antiquing process. Distressing, pillowing and staining are all done manually by skilful artisans to achieve the most authentic look possible. Red Alder is much more stable than other hardwood species, meaning less worry for both the installer and the homeowner. And, as a renewable resource coming from responsibly managed forests, Red Alder is an excellent choice for those who place preservation of the environment at the top of their priorities.

Material: 3/4" (19mm) solid Red Alder hardwood
Note: The amount of material above the tongue and groove allow for the floor to be sanded and re-finished 3-4 times

Nail down, full glue spread, and staple down are all acceptable
